When to use?

How to use? Pull the pin · aim at the base of the fire (not the flames) · squeeze the handle · sweep side to side over the burning surface.

⚠ Call 112 immediately for any fire on board, even if you think you can extinguish it yourself. Fire brigade / KNRM arrive faster than you think.

After use: let us know as soon as you're back so we can replace the extinguisher.

Detaching the tank:

1. Close the vent screw
2. Pull the fuel hose sleeve backward → it clicks loose
3. Lift the tank out by the handle

Replace with a new (or refilled) tank:

1. Place the tank in the same spot
2. Hold the fuel hose against the connection, pull the sleeve backward → it clicks into place
3. Give the hose a quick tug to check that it’s secure
4. Open the vent screw again
5. Pump by hand until the line feels full → start

The Primeur 615 has a draft of 0.5 m, avoid places shallower than 0.8 m. For local sailing you can manage perfectly with our free tool.

When mooring alongside, you need two lines:

• Foreshore line, to a bollard, eye, or cleat located further forward of the boat
• Aft line, to a bollard located further aft of the boat

Secure both lines firmly, but not so tight that you can’t untie them. Below is a short video showing how to tie the knots:

Tip: Before mooring, attach 3 fenders to the mooring side. This will prevent scratches on the boat.

1. Main switch ON (under the helmsman's seat)
2. Dead man's switch engaged (red button, cord attached to the helmsman)
3. Throttle lever in neutral
4. Fuel tank vent screw open
5. Squeeze the hand pump until you feel resistance (= line is full)
6. Turn the key all the way to the right → the engine starts immediately

Engine beeps but won’t start? Move the throttle lever all the way forward once, then all the way back once, and back to neutral. It should start then.

To turn off: turn the key off, or pull the kill switch.

You will depart from the harbor in Elburg. You will receive the exact address and parking information in the confirmation email after you book.

Yes, please do. Feel free to bring a cool box, a picnic or something to drink on board, there is room for it. Many guests moor at one of the islands along the way and eat there.

All we ask is that you leave the boat tidy and take your rubbish back with you. That keeps the water clean and means nothing is deducted from your deposit.

Rather not carry it yourself? You can also order beer and wine from us, chilled and ready when you step aboard.

The boat is certified for a fixed maximum number of people and we are not allowed to go above it. The exact number is in the The boat in figures table on the pricing page; children count towards it too.

Coming with more people? Email or call us with the date and the size of your group. We will look at whether we can split it over two time slots or arrange something else. We do not promise anything up front, but we will tell you honestly what is and is not possible.

You can see it yourself straight away. On the Book your boat page, step 2 shows a calendar with live availability: per day you can see whether it is completely free, whether only one time slot is taken, or whether the whole day is booked.

If a day shows as provisionally booked, someone has reserved it but has not booked definitively yet. You can put yourself on the reserve list: if that booking falls through, the slot is yours.

The calendar also shows which days carry the early-bird discount, so clicking through to another week can be worth it.

There are two ways out of the harbour. To the right onto the Drontermeer: narrow water, reeds, birds and few boats. To the left onto the wide Veluwemeer: more boats, more beach and more going on.

On our water map you will find a few ready-made trips below the map, each with its mooring spots in order, the distance and how long you will be sailing. That way you know in advance whether a half day is enough or whether a full day suits you better.

The same map also shows the depths, the fairway and the opening hours of each spot, so you can pick the route in between yourself.

Our boat needs no boating licence, and no course or exam either. We give you a short briefing before departure and after that you sail yourself.

We do ask on the request form whether anyone on board has sailed before. That is a different question from the licence: a rental dinghy or someone else's boat counts just as well. We tailor the briefing to it, and we do take it into account when we review the request.

If there is no experience on board at all, we will say so honestly and talk it through with you. An open question beforehand beats a miserable day afterwards.

Yes. There are USB-C and USB-A charging points on board, so your phone or speaker can simply be plugged in.

They run off the engine: as long as the engine is running, your phone charges. Moored at a beach for a while? Then nothing charges for that time and it picks up again as soon as you sail on.

Do bring your own cable, we do not keep them on board.

Yes. Rescheduling to another day is free (once). Cancelling is always possible, against a tier on the rental fee: more than 3 weeks ahead free, 7 days to 3 weeks 25%, 2 to 7 days 50%, within 48 hours 75%. Your deposit is always refunded in full. In unsafe weather (KNMI code orange or wind force 6 or more) you choose: a refund or free rescheduling.

In just a few hours, you can easily explore the area around Elburg. If you have a full day, you can even reach Harderwijk or Kampen via Lake Veluwe. We’ll give you tips on the best routes when you set off.

The harbour office is located at the marina and is your point of contact for keys, shower codes and paid harbour facilities. Opening hours and contact details are in your customer portal → Practical info (after booking), or via the harbour office link in our confirmation email. Outside office hours our harbour master is also listed there.

The harbour's toilets and showers are within walking distance of the boat. A Google Maps link to the exact location is in your customer portal → Practical info once you have booked. Access to the showers usually requires a code that you can get from the harbour office, feel free to ask our briefing host on the day.

Not the same everywhere. The bimini top shades the rear bench, the helm position and a stretch forward of that.

How much shade falls where depends on the position of the sun, so it differs during the day.

The very front is not covered by the bimini top. The spray hood can be used there, it shelters the forward part of the boat.
